![]() | The New Jersey Barrier has been developed as a rapidly deployable Steel Safety Barrier for use at roadworks or any other application where a vehicle restraint system conforming to EN 1317 test level T3 is required. |
The New Jersey Barrier can be installed as either a Temporary or Permanent Safety Barrier:
- As a temporary safety barrier for construction zones, for fencing off dangerous areas, protecting the road-workers and for the separation of carriageways.
- As permanent protection for bridges and viaducts, along bus lanes or in situations where a restricted Working Width is required.
The barrier can be anchored to both flexible and rigid pavements, bridge decks and soft, level ground.

![]() | CHARACTERISTICS - Meets EN 1317 parts 1 and 2 Test Level T3 - Very low vehicle exit angle following impact, resulting in exemplary post impact vehicle behaviour - The face is designed with a smooth profile and no posts to negate pocketing, minimise the risk to motorcyclists and effect a smooth redirection - Only requires anchoring at each end of each run - Can be anchored along its length for greater rigidity and lower Working Width - Delivered to site in 12m lengths requiring no bolting together due to a unique QuickMount system ® - Rapid deployment and removal. | FULL SCALE TESTING The New Jersey Barrier is a solid and safe system which has been tested and approved to the T3 Containment Level according to the European Standard EN 1317 parts 1 and 2 at L.I.E.R. (France). | ||
